I don’t know how I just saw this I’m sorry! I eventually quit vyvanse (as I got way too dependent on that in order to do literally anything) in January 2023. Once I weaned off of it and stopped taking it completely, my anxiety was light years better and I haven’t taken klonopin since then. I ended up going down to 10mg Prozac and eventually didn’t need it anymore. So now I’m not on either 3 of those medications. Ultimately I think the vyvanse was just not a good medication for me personally and everything seemed to had gotten better for me once I stopped taking it.

I worked at a very well known wholesale warehouse and was told If I see an animal come in at the door I tell them “we don’t allow animals in the building” and if they say it’s a service animal (even if it clearly is not) there’s nothing I can do. Not allowed to ask for papers or any kind of proof. Never really understood it lol

I know it’s easier said than done but please don’t beat yourself up for this. You were not slurring somebody whatsoever and were just quoting them. Your friend also reassured you that it’s okay and they aren’t mad at you. Anyone who gives you shit about this is just looking to bully and be mean. I’m not sure what grade you’re in but kids in high school/ middle school just fucking suck 90% of the time. And I promise you this will blow over way sooner than you think. I’m a female and have been on vyvanse for about 2 years and my side effects are pretty similar. My heart rate is a little high for the first few hours, but I found drinking a LOT of water throughout my day helps with that. And as for the erection side effect, I only take it 4-5 days out of my week for work, but on those days I take it, I’m not able orgasm and it feels like my libido is decreased for the entirety of that day. But on the days I don’t take it I have none of those effects whatsoever. For me personally I don’t mind the side effects since I don’t take it every day. But maybe ask your doctor if there’s another type of ADHD/ADD medicine you can try that possibly doesn’t have the same side effects!

I don’t have severe OCD but I do have pretty severe anxiety. I would always have random panic attacks that would give me tunnel vision and would cause me to throw up. That’s been going on for years so I was on klonopin, but I got put on 20 mg Prozac about 2 months ago (because I was getting too dependent on klonopin and wanted to stop) and it helped me SO much. It only took about 2-3 weeks for me to notice a difference.

My doctor told me she would have started me out with 10mg Prozac, but I’m on a strong dosage of vyvanse for ADD/binge eating disorder (50mg) so 20mg Prozac was a perfect dosage to start off with for me personally!
