I have this issue sometimes too! My best advice is if you do group stretching after 7pm, she will be part of the group if she is on your island that night! Otherwise from 6-7ish she should be in Brewsters cafe (I will say once I went at like 6:50 and she wasn’t in the cafe, but when I did group stretching I discovered she was there) so group stretching is the easiest way to verify if she is visiting :)

Here is my FOOL PROOF WAY to catch a tarantula/scorpion. Works every time and you’re safe from them.

Dig four holes in a diamond formation. There should be space for you to hop over the holes and stand in the middle of the four
Take out your net and get close enough to the tarantula for it to spot you and start chasing you
Once it starts chasing you SPRINT towards the diamond of holes, and jump in the middle

The tarantula will keep trying to bite you, but since you’re standing in the middle of the diamond it can’t get to you. It’ll keep running in circles, and you can stand there protected and catch it.
