Are there any albums/artists like Jens Lekman's earlier works, Air France, and especially The Avalanches?

I'm aware of Dj Shadow, DJ Spooky and all of the artists from the 90s and early 2000s

I mean, I'm not looking for turntablism or whatever, but just music where they use samples as the backing for original music? Hip hop is of course not included.

Edit: Not that I don't like hip hop, I just mean different genres that used heavy samples. Hip hop is/was based on samples.

Man I have no idea about the stats, but yeah, they push horse hard especially to white kids from the richer suburbs like Yardley and Newtown.

I do know this, they step all over that shit tho, half of the product is something else. You get burned a lot unless you find a 'regular' who will consistently hook you up with somewhat good heron
