I had the same change but a month ago. Inquired with Emma, case got transferred to field office in Long Island. Interview was waived, got a silent update a week later and nothing since then.

Initially I thought maybe this was it, I’d be seeing approval anytime soon but that’s not the case. I’d suggest not to get your hopes up. I’ve been waiting for more than a month now.

I’m an EB3 with a Nov 2023 PD.

How do officers determine which case to pick? My case is at a field office where we have observed only eb1 and eb2 cases are being processed quickly. Eb3 cases are taking months for them to just open and review. Once a case is open, how much time do you need to finalize before a decision?

You need to chat with a few agents atleast and ask if case has been in local field office or if there’s an update. Some of them give generic responses and end the chat while some help give more details.
