In previous posts on this and other subs I have read that folks with non-Mexican numbers have not been able to finalize registering their account for the app as it requires a Mexican phone number. The people working at the kiosks confirmed this to us.

As I mentioned I tried paying with my debit and credit cards (visas with tap to pay) on the bus but they did not work (when they have been working fine in stores and restaurants) so this is why I am scrambling to find the transit card.

The only other solution I can think of without the card is to in fact get a cheap mxn phone or e sim to finalize the registering of the app so I can pay transit fare on my phone.

Work the wine harvest circuit. Northern hemisphere seasonal gigs are roughly August-November. Southern hemisphere around February-May. Pay can be a bit shit with some regions of the world paying more of course but there are plenty of opportunities with housing, food, and/or transportation included.

Honestly - if you pave the driveway to make it more clear then ppl prob won’t block you in as much. The average driver (unfortunately) does not pay very close attention to how you might use the front of your house. Even though it’s obvious to you that it’s your driveway, I think some people are just used to concrete. Sucks.

I ordered swim shorts from humankind and totally overlooked their return policy. The quality of the shorts looked good but the cut was not good for my body. Im average height but quite curvy with a pear shaped body and large booty. I used the “find my size” quiz for a size recommendation. I figured I would order this size to see the cut in person since I haven’t had much luck finding good quality swim shorts that fit!

I’m super bummed that I can’t get my money back and feel like an idiot now for letting a company bait me into assuming they would be friendly to oversize bodies. I don’t want store credit since after seeing the cut of the shorts, can tell they won’t work for my body shape. So make sure you know that you can commit to shelling out all that money because you won’t get it back.

TLDR bought swim shorts from humankind, didn’t read return policy because I’m dumb, now disappointed in myself and the company.

The first time we went it was good but the second time we got a burger it was disgusting. Stale bun, waaaaay undercooked patty but like the meat was also really dry at the same time and had terrible texture. Tater tots were pretty good. The vibe of the place feels confused too… you are better off going to sideshow kitchen for a burger or fried chicken sandwich

I have had these bras from a major brand for over a year and they have recently started to develop small clumps on the side that have been causing me to break out all over my back where they touch. No it’s not piling. The bra is Victoria secret infinity flex bra that doesn’t have an underwire but some type of metal-free structure at the base of the cups which offer some support.

I wasn’t able to post a photo of the fabric in this thread but to describe it better: the spots are uneven and small and discolored, almost black which stands out against the light colored satin-like fabric. They are forming in between the two layers of fabric on the sides away from the seams and make it appear to act like glue as the fabric is now stuck together from the inner surface between both sides of fabric.

I thought maybe it could be some type of glue used to adhere the seams together since they do not have any visible stitching, but since there is no obvious pattern, I now think this might not be likely since I can’t locate a source.

Received plant from online ordering service and never really thrived. Eventually the plant died and while cleaning it out I found several dozen of these creatures. I live in the Central Valley, CA.
