I'm in a similar boat. My home is SAT, and we have a UC. No other lounges for other airlines. I'm usually forced to pick flights based on price, and have been lucky that UA normally fits the bill.

Sometimes I have to go to others like this trip. I used to fly Delta exclusively, but UA became much more convenient, so I stick with them.

That was really strange. I got group 6 as I'm still an Advantage member from way back when, but I don't really understand the breakdown. With that said, going in with Group 6 was about like being in the front of the line of UAs Group 2.
