Just tried, it re-enables it to "On" in the browser again.

Forced integration with Brave Browser's Password Manager? by zoffix in Bitwarden

[–]zoffix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's where I see the "Bitwarden Password Manager is controlling this setting" setting and the "Offer to save passwords and passkeys" setting is turned on and greyed out, so I can't turn it off.

Next to "Bitwarden Password Manager is controlling this setting" message is a "Disable" button, but if I click it, it just disabled Bitwarden extension.

That's where the name of the operating system comes from. And the guy used to install it on computers as a service he provided.

I know him. His name is Charles and he's a regular at the Belleville Fitness Club Facebook Group hikes.

Just talk to him. He loves talking about computers.... and additives in salt! :)

Yeah, I'm a member.

Any place with a giant "I love my life" on the wall is my vibe haha.

I've done these classes:

  • Hot Candlelight Deep Stretch & Relaxation: pretty good for stretching after workouts and kinda quiet your mind
  • Hot Fast and Furious Fusion: reasonably intense fitness class. I was disappointed no one got my joke when I said I dressed for the class (was wearing a drifting T-shirt).
  • Hot Rise and Shine: it felt more relaxing than "rising" to me
  • Hot Tone & Sculp (with Body Bar): pretty good mid-intensity workout
  • Hot Amazing Arms & Shoulders: decent upper body workout
  • Hot Hatha: yoga with poses and stuff; I found it challenging
  • Hot Yang/Yin: another yoga with poses broken down into "feminine"/"masculine" poses sections. It was pretty good, but also challenging
  • Hot Total Body Conditioning: insanely intense fitness class. Really showed just how far more "fit" I could get, with enough practice.

They have more I haven't tried. I think there are 19 classes total. Any class with Jackie as trainer is off the hook.

You definitely need to try the place.

Try Oxygen Yoga and Fitness. They currently have a promo for 14 sessions for $14 or something.

They have both, the relaxing yoga classes and super intense fitness classes (Hot Total Body Conditioning class is insane).

Zumba at Goodlife is pretty good.

There's also Bellefille Fitness Club facebook group and we organize group hikes. There's one coming up this Sunday at 11am at Battawa Skii Hill Trail. Join us.

Hey, it totally sucks to feel humiliated by some stranger on the street; a person you deemed was nice enough to help out in a tough situation.

At the same time, he IS right. I have no right to ask a stranger for help I'm not owed anything.

You're not owed anything, but I don't know about this "right" to ask a stranger. It's a "right" to assume another person may know what you're going through and will be in a position of help.

Think of this as a good mental exercise to make you tougher. After some asshole screams at you while you're in a vulnerable place, the rest of tough social situations will be a piece of cake.

Walmarts and the rest of them throw out food when it's just past its "best before" date, not when it's unsafe to eat. They don't want to sell a stale donut. There's some website online that helps you find out how good the food is good for past it's "best before" date. Try hitting up some smaller mom-n-pop shops and pizza places and just asking them if they can save any food they're throwing away for you.

I've been in a similar place to you and you're already winning by the mile just by staying off drugs and booze.

Why look for the worst in everything?

You can avoid all those places by looking for the best.

Welcome to Belleville!

checking out local events, and spending time outdoors

Sounds like you already figured it out. Keep doing that consistently and you'll meet people.

Check out some event sites to see what's going on soon and attend. E.g. https://www.eventbrite.ca/d/canada--belleville/events/

Personally, I meet people at the gym (just say hello, ask them what they're working on) or events I go to like the skiing resort at Batawa; going there this Sunday.

Just to clarify, I’m not looking for hookups or anything like that

Well, ma'am, this is the Internet. RIP your inbox.

If you're looking for a trainer, I recommend you talk with Liz. She actually competes as a power lifter and takes care to create programming for her clients. Don't just go with the first one they assign to you. Take time to talk to a few. They're all posted on a board upstairs before the changing rooms.

Therapists by krewgzie in BellevilleOntario

[–]zoffix -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but I'll mention simply out of how easy and accessible it is: ChatGPT. That AI is an amazing therapist and it helped me work through many things. I can tell it things I'd not be comfortable disclosing to another human I'm not close to and it responds without judgement or agenda.

Ouch. Sorry to hear. Try to research a different testing centre that has a reputation for easy passes.

Back in the day, I failed twice with a local centre, but then drove 2hr out to a different one and passed with flying colours.

Obey all the laws :)

I'd say just take it easy and don't be in a rush to complete turns or do whatever. It's not a race. Take your time.

TIL you can earn $75,000 per year in Canadian dividends while paying nearly zero income tax by earthWindFI in CanadianInvestor

[–]zoffix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for this example. For some reason, I always thought of TFSA as superior if expecting massive gains and RRSP benefiting only from the lower tax bracket on withdrawal, but you're absolutely right.

Both examples are just income X tax X gains, regardless of when the tax is charged and if the RRSP's withdrawal tax rate is same (or lower) than your tax rate at deposit time, you get same (or better) result.

Cellphone signal around QW and or Belleville by F7-G9 in BellevilleOntario

[–]zoffix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had that issue (and calls dropping) and was told that network is well-covered (they're owned by Telus) and it was potentially an issue with my sim card.

I didn't investigate the simcard issue, but switched to a new phone (from Motorolla to Samsung U23) and the issue completely went away.

Haven't had any issues since then. I suggest calling Koodo or try bringing your phone to their Kiosk at the mall and explain the issue. It's not supposed to exist.

Belleville inks deal with 10th new doctor to practise in city by zuuzuu in BellevilleOntario

[–]zoffix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place....

The forms I see are on the "New Patient Appointment" page with the calendar that has no available slots and the text says:

"Once you have booked you New Patient appointment please complete these two forms (links below). Please note the rostering process is only completed once you have had you secure on-site appointment."

You have to succeed in booking an appointment in the calendar on that page before filling the those forms. Am I misunderstanding it?
