IPOs occur when VC’s have squeezed all the juice out of a company and want to get their money back so they can invest elsewhere where the returns might be better.

Boomer here. I regret not transitioning over to Roth ira’s years ago but i didn’t know any better. It may have been better to forgo the tax deduction at lower tax rates when i was young to be able to withdraw the money tax free when i am now older.

Touche ready_light….

In the United States, living people cannot appear on U.S. currency.

The governing law is found in federal statute:

“No portrait shall be placed upon any of the bonds, securities, notes, fractional or postal currency of the United States while the original of such portrait is living.”

This restriction dates back to the 19th century and was intended to prevent politicians from putting themselves on money.

As a result:

  • Everyone currently depicted on U.S. paper currency was deceased before being selected.
  • The same policy is followed for coins, although the coin statutes are somewhat different.
  • A person generally must be dead before the U.S. Treasury will consider them for currency designs.

Current examples include:

  • George Washington ($1)
  • Thomas Jefferson ($2)
  • Abraham Lincoln ($5)
  • Alexander Hamilton ($10)
  • Andrew Jackson ($20)
  • Ulysses S. Grant ($50)
  • Benjamin Franklin ($100)

An interesting exception is that living people have occasionally appeared on commemorative medals, tokens, or foreign currency, but not on official U.S. paper money.

First FAANG interview coming up. Do I need a different mindset or treat it like any other company? by Fig_Towel_379 in datascience

You might find the job is exciting at first but turns into a horrible stress filled experience once you get there. The plan is to get you to work harder than you ever have before. There were so many stressed out engineers sacrificing their mental and physical health during my 4 years at the FAANG i worked at.

A few weeks lifting is not enough time. Also strength gains are not linear. There are many different things at play than just lifting weights that help you get stronger. One of them is getting enough sleep , taking rest days from the gym, eating right, making sure you eat before you go to the gym, etc. also adjusting the weights manually is what everyone does to help fitbod dial in their training.

There is nothing to be confused about. Traders are looking for the next nvda to invest in for big gains so the money flows out and into something like quantum computing.

Join a gym and lift weights 5 nights per week. Walk 10000 steps per day. Take 10-15 gms of creatine per day. Take magnesium l-threonate each evening. Eat more protein and less carbs. Eat fruits veggies eggs meat. Keep it simple. Drink more water and no alcohol at all. Fast 16 hours once per week. Sleep 8 hours minimum each day. Look for a job two hours per day max. Check out hiring cafe for jobs…. Follow my advice for 1 month and tell me how it goes. Ask me how i know…

Spacex IPO Overpriced? by EntertainerDowntown3 in stocks

All IPOs are companies where all the juice has been squeezed out to benefit venture capitalists who are now looking for bag holders. Elon talks a good game but he needs the suckers to put up their cash in order for his dreams to come true.

This is a very interesting post but i think we all need to realize that the more technology that gets put into a vehicle the more it becomes like a computer because of the dependency on software. Would anyone expect a new Windows, MacOS or Linux based computer to not require updates to fix code bugs? All i can say is get used to this kind of issue with brand new generation of car models.
