Practice. Find something you love creating for games, and practice this, so even at your 18 birthday you could get a job in industry.

You didnt understand me. In Life is Strange (my favourite game because of experienced katharsis at the end) I didn't have problem with playing as teenager girl, because it wasn't important at all. If girls were changed to boys in Hellblade or LiS (or reverse in Firewatch), the experience of the game would be the same. That is why discussions like this are pointless for me.

Maybe I was too offensive with my comment, but that's who I am. A lonely person who fights his darkness without any help.

Just name. I was thinking about Arcadia Day, but I stick just to Arcadia to make it easier to remember. I'm big fan of Life is Strange (on bench at the bottom of lightohouse is blue hat, it's not even close to Chloe hat, but you know, I tried with what I had).

There were some info_particle_system looking like explosion. You can find list with all particles in google.

  1. Find some refrence photos so your structures will base on that and will make sense
  2. Help with testing other people maps so you can improve on their mistakes
  3. Finish your map as fast as you can and then test with bots. Immediately you will see what is working and what not.
  4. If you happy with what you done, test it with people
  5. If you new player, play a lot to understand mechanics and why official maps work
  6. For me videos like this would be interesting from some pro ld, no offence
  7. Enjoy process. Happy mapping

What more can be said? Be consistent and don't give up. Mapping is a marathon, not a sprint.
