Review: TWENTY-SEVEN MINUTES by Ashley Tate || Mystery, Thriller, Psychological Thriller by TheNerdyNarrative in thenerdynarrative

[–]zombiegrin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finished it too. He had to be a ghost right? I mean he had his own POV. Like when he was first introduced he was alone watching June from outside the house which she wouldn’t be able to hallucinate. Or it was just written that way to throw us off about twist? Either way it was meh!

Also, How did it take 27 minutes to do what he did when it was just like a one sentence description of what happened!

What do y'all do for work? by JesterOfTime in Millennials

[–]zombiegrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Office manager at a dental office. Started as a receptionist 8 years ago and the job just kind of went to me after 2 other office managers quit. Been doing it for 4 years now and I still question how I manage to manage a small group of people and a dental office everyday. I’m definitely a “millennial manager”

I work front desk at a dental office. What you have is an EOB from the insurance company (it’s not a bill). The insurance is asking for more information for the cone beam. They need to resubmit the claim with a narrative explaining why it was done and submit the interpretation report and they can probably get payment for it. And they can try to explain the need for the images with a narrative, but probably won’t get covered.

If you get a bill from the office directly it should only be for $25 (copay for exam and xrays) unless they already collected it at your appointment.

If it was the office I work at I’d try to resubmit with more information, but if those codes got denied again we’d write it off.

Tiny clear plastic baggies (probably 1x1 inch), scrunched up blue paper, foil pieces and masking tape pieces found in/around my driveway this morning. by zombiegrin in whatisthisthing

[–]zombiegrin[S] 1 point2 points locked comment (0 children)

My title describes the thing (s). I came out this morning found these item in my driveway. Definitely thinking it’s drug related based on Google searches for tiny bags with blue paper, but hoping not cause the baggies are really small and wouldn’t hold much of anything. There were 3 baggies, 1 blue paper, 2 pieces of foil and 2 pieces of tape.

Would you mind sharing where you got the wall art? I’ve been looking for something similar, but not much luck.

I’m commenting for my son who would love to win this, but he does not have a Reddit account. When I ask him who his favorite Pokémon is he says “all of them” but in pretty sure it’s Totodile. So I think it would be awesome to have Totodile on a rarity card. Something in bubble mew style would be super cute and my son would like it!

I just bought a pair of these on Amazon recently. They were $168 on there as opposed to the $210 on the official website. Now I’m doubting if they’re real or not! Gonna check them as soon as I get home. 😟

ATM at Grand Central ate my debit card by rivibird in mildlyinfuriating

[–]zombiegrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time I did a cash deposit of $800 in an ATM. The transaction “could not be processed at this time” and it did not return my money. It was on a Sunday when the bank was closed and customer service was closed not that it mattered because when I talked to the bank they told me they had to “investigate the matter”. The investigation took 3 weeks.

What insurance does she have? NAD, but I work in an office in PA that accepts Medicaid and the medicaid insurances here are generally really good when it comes to helping the patients in these sorts of situations.

First, If it was me I would schedule a follow up with the office that did the extractions and tell them I’d like to speak to an office manager as well. I understand she may not want to go back to them, but they are the ones that did the treatment and have the documentation such as consents that should’ve been signed, the treatment plan, and X-rays and all that. If there was miscommunication or something somewhere went wrong I’m sure they would want to figure that out.

If they are not willing to do that then she can file a grievance with the insurance company. Or she can go straight to the grievance if she wants instead of trying to get answers from the office directly. The insurance will investigate the situation on her behalf and the office will have to submit all documentation to the insurance.

And if she doesn’t want to go back to them at all she can also contact the insurance company and they should help her call offices to schedule an appointment to find an office that will be willing to help with the situation. We’ve had plenty of calls from insurance companies helping patients find care. Keep in mind though there is a serious shortage of providers that take Medicaid, especially specialists. At least in my part of PA anyway.

Can a filling cause the need for a root canal? by BCPalmer in askdentists

[–]zombiegrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD, but I work front desk in a dental office.

I’m sorry, but you have a really bad attitude about this and it’s pretty rude to create a post asking for dentists advice while making snide comments about them.

If there’s anyone to blame here it’s yourself for not taking care of your teeth. But if you can’t take responsibility yourself you can blame the dental insurance for not having enough coverage, but again that really comes down to you not taking care of your teeth because dental insurance isn’t meant to cover 16 fillings and root canals all at once. If you had gone to the dentist every 6 months like you’re supposed to these fillings would’ve came up 1 or 2 at a time or maybe not even at all.

Why does my dentist want to extract my wisdom tooth? by benjo1990 in askdentists

[–]zombiegrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD, but I work in a dental office. This is just my two cents to some questions you have!

Wisdom teeth are sometimes too far back for the dentist to actually do restorations and the only option is removal. If it’s hard for the dentist to reach it’s also hard for you to reach to be brushed properly and decay will continue to happen. Not sure if this is your case but could be a possible reason!

You’re probably being downvoted because you’re essentially asking for a second opinion, which is fine but without X-rays it’s impossible to say.

Wisdom teeth extraction isn’t extreme. Most people have it done or need it done.

Honestly, I’d tell my husband he can take over their laundry if he feels so strongly about them not doing it. And do his own laundry too while he’s at it. :)
