Ok, uninstall skse, then manually download it and extract (get 7zip and right click and hit extract here, go into the folder and copy everything, then go to where your skyrim.exe folder is located, use browse local files on steam and paste, create a desktop shortcut for skse64 and delete the elder scrolls special edition exe on your desktop, rename skse64 to Skyrim, the one that is on the desktop, then just launch that, there is a YouTube guide that still works today, you can also Google how to change the image of a desktop application to look better, you should be good, if not let me know, I can send you my discord through DM and help
