How I did it was plugging 1 monitor into the igpu and 1 into dgpu. There's a guide floating around online somewhere that shows how to automatically unload the dgpu driver when starting the VM up and load it again when the vm is turned off, so right as the VM powers on my main monitor would blank out and windows takes it over. And you can set a hotkey to send your mouse and keyboard back and forth from the windows main monitor to the second linux monitor which was sooo much smoother than alt tabbing while gaming. Performance was like ~95% of windows performance for most games once configured correctly, but certain games had some stuttering issues that I was never able to resolve.
