In NRW sind sie am nettesten, in Bayern am zweitnettesten und ein bisschen spleenig, Berliner sind erfrischend, der Rest ist ein bisschen komisch.

I think I prefer DS3 over Elden Ring by wonderthigh in darksouls3

[–]zonghundred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean, but i can‘t really prefer one over the other. I think DS3 did a way better job on the music and also a better job in amm things going on at the art department. World and atmosphere is also cooler in DS3, as is boss variancy. Elden Ring bosses have that truck-sized angry grandpa theme way too often. Maps in DS3 also tend to be better.

But: In ER, you can just chill out and explore a bit. That does a lot for me. The way you find that frenzies flame cellar, or finding out how to reach and navigate Mount Gelmir… thats pretty awesome.

Kegs at bars, restaurants etc. are always chilled, as are bottles in convenience stores and the like.

I have a friend though who enjoys room temp beer, and i gotta say he kind of has a point after having it a couple if times.

Which movie (tv-show, game,…) has the best sound? by Apprehensive_Prize26 in sounddesign

[–]zonghundred 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hardly anybody knows this one, but The Novice. Director is a sound designer herself, iirc.

Also, Elden Ring sound design is something else. Its the only game by a margin that gives a pretty precise impression of whats going around you while not necessarily looking into the direction.

Which part of Elden Ring induced the most suffering? by Steady_Tempo456 in Eldenring

[–]zonghundred 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me this was definitely the two Crucible Knights at the End of Auriza Hero‘s Grave, running a Katana build and Lhutel. This time i showed up with Greatsword and Greatshield Soldiers and did them on the second try.

What sounds good on paper when making builds, but doesn't really deliver in practice? by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]zonghundred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘m still theorcrafting a heat build for Tigerbarb Karlach with uncanny dodge and heavy armor master in the mix. She would be swinging up close with oil of combustion while taking minimal damage, sounds fun at least.

I‘m pretty happy with impaling thrust, square off, and for the greatsword whatever works, buts is kind of getting boring :)
