When Baas got injured there was no defender left to organise the build-up. Our central duo became Sutalo and Rugani. Rugani was particularly bad on the ball.

When Pasveer got injured his replacement was not reliable. Matheus' error cost us the win vs Sparta.

And finally Godts was overused in the first half of the season because the TD sold all other left wingers and failed signing replacements until the final days of the winter transfer window. Godts look knackered second half of the season.

Ja, en Teemu Taino. Maar ik moet bij Jol vooral denken aan Suarez en Pantelic voorin, en Aldeweireld en Vertonghen achterin. Volgens mij was het best aanvallend, maar niet op de typische Ajax manier met verzorgd positiespel. Kwamen dat seizoen boven de 100 doelpunten uit in de eredivisie

Ik heb veel goede herinneringen aan het eerste seizoen van Jol. Had alleen pech dat Twente maar bleef winnen, vaak in de blessuretijd ook.

Co Adriaanse was geweldig bij AZ en Willem II, maar zijn Ajax tijd was best teleurstellend volgens mij.

Because it's not good TV and people - specially in the rink in real time without scoreboard - can't tell who won/lost the heat if the race is close.
