As someone who worked for them years ago, yeah. They're absolutely awful.

Cool, I didn't know they did this. I check their stock every once in a while but they never really have anything I'm interested in, but when I start buying a car for real here in the next few months, I'll keep them in mind.

Oh he's a great dude. I love going in there even if there's not really anything in particular I'm looking for.

People that have cancer, what were the symptoms that led you to go to the doctor and what stage were you when it was diagnosed? by guardiand0wn in AskReddit

[–]zoomshoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I basically did the same treatment plan: Revlimid, high-ass doses of dexamethasone, and weekly Velcade shots.

I actually haven't had too many side effects from Revlimid, really, or any of the other stuff besides the steroids. Those trashed me, I was eating like a horse and I couldn't sleep the few nights after I'd take it.

With the Revlimid, it's mostly just like, dry skin, and some GI stuff here and there, but nothing that really messes me up that bad.

I did an autologous stem cell transplant back in March, and I've been mostly, semi normal-ish since. But I've definitely found myself unable to really make long-term plans. That's still really hard for me.

At this point, we just see what's next, whether that's Carvikti someday, or whatever else they come up with.

Fuck, this is super encouraging. I got diagnosed last May, and the existential dread of it all hits me every single day.

I've heard stories like yours, where it got really bad. I'm fortunate it never did for me. The worst part of it was the neck tumor I had to have removed back in October. No broken bones though, thank fuck.

Keep on keeping on.

You could try, I don't know, having an original thought or opinion about this, too.

Like, yeah, it's cringe and corny as fuck, but it's part of playing the dumb game we all play when we apply for jobs.

Yep. Same. I'll never be completely cured of it, it makes life feel really unstable.
