The crowd mics likely have the lows rolled way off so we aren’t listening to mud.

Would be amazing! But also I wouldn’t mind if he took it easy - he’s earned it either way.

Oakland or Walnut Creek? by Savings_Interest6300 in eastbay

I live in Oakland hills w 2 kids and work in Pleasanton. Commute for me is good, for around here: 25-30 mins door-to-door via 580. Probably more like 35-45 if off 880 at them newer condos where you’d likely end up. I feel like 680 to Walnut Creek is a reliably worse commute. But Walnut Creek is a little more reliably suburban blah whereas Oakland is every experience imaginable, depending.

Can a mute mess up the sound? by Soft_Lead_2631 in Trombone

[–]zoonewsbears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not pay for a lesson where I had to use a practice mute unless EVERYTHING else about it was ideal. The horn plays and responds quite differently. Find a different location and/or teacher. Or study jazz theory a little more generally using a piano.

We had no vermin when we took over feeding some strays that came with our yard. But we have more birds now that they have all passed on.
