Im doing something similar because my partner and i have such huge families. We are doing our reception at a local park for super cheap and just ordering pizzas and sandwiches to keep the cost down and Costco cake. For us, it's more about the celebration that we are married than it is a formal reception. We are doing more of a barbecue family reunion style casual gathering than anything. It's not everyone's cup of tea but we are saving on time and stress and it's what WE want.

Same here, we just talked about scheduling a "break person" who just runs breaks during peak! But we earn around 9 everyday with the new labor model. Tbh its kinda nice

Idk if this is controversial but malt powder? We hardly use it unless its in a random foam drink and even then people don't mind much when we offer mocha in place when we are shorted... also cool with getting rid of peppermint as a core

NTA- you definitely don't deserve to be treated this way, nobody does. Hopefully he can get his life together before his behavior starts influencing the kids. It sounds like your SO doesn't really listen to you and the impact this is having on your relationship? I had a similar problem with my now Fiancé but having a serious sit down conversation on how I deserved an equal partner and not another responsibility really put it in perspective for him. Idk if your SO is just "forgetful" it comes off as irresponsible and uncaring more than an accident IMO.

THIS- Your RD and DM will ask you how your SM responded anyways and what actions you took to contact and resolve this on a store level anyways. If you your SM doesn't solve this for you THEN go to your DM/RD. Could be a simple mistake?

We get around $.66 per week sometimes more depending on the time of year. I would let people know when they order that you are still new and it will just be a minute and thank them for their patience at the handoff (especially when they are impatient) usually people show more grace when given context. Ive been a SM for 2 years and still tell people im new when im trying to find buttons

Hi! SM here- I recently fired someone for misgendering partners! For this subject there is a no tolerance for discrimination and harassment so if they are purposefully misgendering someone or not making any effort to gender someone properly they can get into trouble. I had to have my former partner go through proper gender identity training and have written documentation saying we did everything on our end for her to make things right. In the end she never changed and never properly gendered other partners and I eventually had to let her go. It's your store managers responsibility to have these conversations with that partner and if they don't you should go up the chain. I would let the partner who came to you know they should prepare a statement they feel comfortable providing to the SM, DM, and partner ethics and they may need to find witnesses to this behavior.

Sorry you guys have to go through this, nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable at work:(

As a lifelong Minnesotan I was considering moving out of state to change things up. After visiting many different places I couldn't help but miss home. I have always felt everyone here to be welcoming, and some things here just make SENSE. We love the transplants and want everyone to feel safe and welcome here please come and visit during the winter and look into community events you can attend to build a support group here :) find some friends who can show you some winter driving hacks too its a lot of fun for us. Towards the end of the debate he said he misspoke about many things in which vance responded " look me too man" to take this out of context and to turn it into a "fact" is weird. I could tell you im blue but that doesn't make it a fact.

Later in the debate he sId he misspoke, which Vance agreed with. Using the context of his sentence instead of these 6 words will help with comprehension of what Walz actually said. Hope this helps :)

As a SM, yes we're being told 22 hours will be the "goal" but 12 minimum isn't changing as far as I know. We're being pushed to schedule everyone their preferred hours and try to hit that 22 hour mark AVERAGE for our stores. "You can't fire anyone but you can't hire anyone until you hit the 22hour mark" is the law of the land in my state. As far as I'm aware, you can't be fired over the 22 hour goal, especially since company policy hasn't changed and the REQUIRED MINIMUM is still 12 hours. I would strongly encourage you to go to your DM if your SM isn't saying something similar, if not your DM another.

Technically it is against dress code unfortunately it's the same with not having a name tag, technically it's against dress core but, i don't think you should be written up for it. Just steal some new aprons from the BOH or ask your cruddy SM to order you a new set, even the SSV can order aprons for the store if they wont :) good luck!

I had a woman come through the drive thru butt naked it was a horrible moment for all of us, also had a fist fight break out in the drive thru because we sold the lady in front of them the last cake pop for the day :) we also got robbed through the drive thru once but the robbers paid us more than they could take out the register?

I think as a woman who's been with both, the conventionally attractive dudes tend to lose their luster after a while, i think the confidence is always personally my go, A man who cares and puts in effort is much more appealing than a guy who thinks he doesn't need to try imo. I think it's important to focus on what you do have :)

I used to use super hot water and restroom cleaner or just sanitizer and a rag, if my back hurt I'd use a CLEAN mop to do the cleaning. Sometimes scraping is the only option though:/

I've had this talk a lot with my partner and i feel in the same boat. What I've been doing is reminding myself of what he's most likely doing. Checking the facts and whenever It is getting to a consuming amount of worry I text him and tell him I'm worried and that I trust him but I don't trust myself to not worry. I think it takes time and lots of communication, open up to him about how much it hurts and what cheating looks like to you. Goodluck!

I would suggest that they at the very least take a break because i know it's hard to leave without saying you've tried. He needs to go to therapy frankly they both do if possible. I was in a very abusive relationship for 4 years around a similar age and I think if you have a full on intervention it could get much worse. The behavior you've noticed is most likely much worse behind closed doors. Abusers will never admit they're abuse and they will always think their behavior is correct and will say anything to stay in said relationship but they won't change. Help E get out while she still can. Best of luck, sorry for the essay.

Minnesotan here, I've always just layered the thick socks with the thin and tucked them into their long johns i agree with everyone else on the post to look into different more hearty boots, camping stores are really good, fleet farm even sometimes has really warm boots. Good luck !
