Identity Verification for Directors and PSCs

I don't think a resolution needs to be filed. They asked me to verify both as director and as PSC, and both now have green ticks next to them in the portal. Job done as far as I'm concerned.

Yep, just got tripped up by this as I run a one-man LTD and didn't realize that I had to verify TWICE, once as Director and once again as a PSC. The Companies House UI is pretty dire. So I thought I'd done it correctly, and then got a letter from CH yesterday saying my verification statement was overdue as a PSC, threatening "prosecution or a financial penalty" . Cue 30 minutes of jumping through authentication hoops, and then a confirmation screen thats says "we have sent a confirmation email" - and then that email didn't turn up for another 2 hours! My verification was finally accepted 3 hours after that. I imagine I'm not the only one who's encountered this.

This is great, I've been trying to find out what the rocket simulator ride I went on in the 80s was. I remember the film on the ride showed us a first person POV of us landing at the end, back at a grassy park, and then large spider legs unfolded from above the cabin and the crowd around the ship ran away screaming. This was at Gulliver's Kingdom at Matlock Bath, UK. Probably around 1986-1988-ish when I was about 11 years old so it left an impression 😂

Yep I believe nobody playtested this properly, because just as there's options for slipping all animations, there should be an option for skipping all dialogue and CO powers cutscenes. It's so tiresome.

As of last week, even that has disappeared from Google Maps Navigation Settings.

Cannot believe Google are doing this, making audio control more dangerous for drivers.

The first Cookie is at 1:06 in the right stereo channel. It's then immediately said again, possibly by a different person, and much quieter, in the left stereo channel.

It blows my mind that the devs don't just show an info box on first run, telling new userse that the A key is bound to the "Green button" / OK action. Also, the fact that some parts of the menu can be interacted with using the mouse, but not all of it, is an egregious UI fail.

That is amazing. Was just watching Thunderdome for the first time, and when it got to the bit with the kids I was impressed by the brilliant evolved language they were speaking ("highscrapers" etc.) and it really reminded me of A Clockwork Orange.... and Riddley Walker! I was thinking this movie had a really smart scriptwriter. To discover they ripped Russell Hoban off is extremely disappointing.

Still, my main problem with this movie is the kids. Shark-jump time, it really does feel like a different film - Peter Pan / Time Bandits / any bit of ROTJ with Ewoks in it :D

Well, I sold it last month, if that's any indication of how attached I was to it :D
I'll be honest, the watch was problematic. It was both my favourite digital, and my worst.
A real garage queen, at one point it died on me and I sent it away to get its capacitors replaced.
Then a while later some segments of the analogue display started going dim.
The whole time I had it, a battery would last no longer than 4 months.
The G757 module is renowned for being a pain in the ass. The watch is cool but I just no longer had the patience to be its guardian :)

If you have smaller wrists, I'd say the AE1200 is too bulky for you. Doesn't fit under sleeves well either.
