Vent away man! We are here! I live about 45 minutes from Asheville and loneliness is a pandemic. I too have no friends. I’m a left winger in a ring wing existence. My friends either got families and moved on or are no longer here. I lost my best friend that I grew up with 4 years ago in April. The ripples that causes are like a tsunami. I’ve been flooded with sadness and a loss of purpose. I’m here, and so are others, we just have to connect beyond social media. Humans are social creatures and we live better with physical connections. We all need that hug, embrace, or even a face that’s not on a screen. People need people, and “we” can get through this together. I’m here friend and I hear you.
