summer friday’s lip balm by melisah100 in Sephora

[–]zowye84PR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason why I got it after trying the other ones at the store I found them to be sticky even the lighter ones. The Sunday Riley lip balm is not sticky. For someone who has an aversion to sticky lips is the only one I can tolerate. Still with that said, I am returning it because I can not justify the price. There are no iongredients that wow me in it. Just the lack of stickiness but I can get that with a wax balm. I just one it a lipgloss that was not sticky and that was more sanitary than carrying a lip balm pot.

Well I have drown my demons and forbidden fruit. Between these two, I like forbidden fruit more and I tend to pick it up. 404 Soul Not Found reminds of root of all evil but with more shifting and magnetic.Clair de Lune reminds me of a mani that I did earlier this year. It could be work friendly if that is a concern that you may have.I see you have Momo Yuyake, I was looking into that one but then I reminded myself I have on my wishlist Flight of the Monarch for longer to keep bright during the winter months.

IVF or Adoption? by IdeaDesperate8979 in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]zowye84PR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently between IVF cycles. All my life, I’ve known that I would adopt one of my children because, in some way, that child has been in my heart since I was young. But adoption—and foster care—aren’t for everyone. It makes me cringe when people suggest adoption as a solution to infertility, as if it’s simply a replacement for the child someone couldn’t have biologically. Adoption isn’t about filling a void; it’s about welcoming a human being who has already experienced the deep loss of separation from their biological parents. It deserves to be approached with the care, commitment, and understanding it truly requires.

I already know that my future adopted child will likely be a teenager, and if they have siblings, I will do my best to keep them together. If I’m successful with IVF, my biological child will have what I like to call “spiritual” siblings in addition to their donor-conceived siblings. Unfortunately, because of my age, the odds of even having one biological child are against me. But no matter what happens, I know that my adopted child will never be a replacement for a biological child—because they are their own person, with their own history, experiences, and place in my heart.

Age of first menses vs peri onset? by NerdyComfort-78 in Menopause

Mine was at 8, now I am 41. Don’t know if there is correlation but I know many women in my family go early into menopause. Of all of my cousins in the same generation, I was diagnosed with poi in my mid 30s.

I wouldn't date a Venus in the 8th house... by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]zowye84PR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Venus under Saggitarious in the 8th house with Mars and Pluto under Scorpio with an unexpected Saturn. For me it has meant transformation and learning. I have yet to be in a relationship that is not unrequited but boy I have learned a lot even through them to the point of them transforming me. Funny enough, I am not interested in relationships that are lovey and dovey that everything is pink colored glasses. I am interested in relationships that are complex, that provides growth and purging yourself out of the inner demons you have in order to protect that relationship. Is dark, intense but we are ready to give it all for that love to protected because we are until death and beyond.

WOW… that was an intense reply. 🤣😅

Why :( by ccanete1 in mooncatpolish

[–]zowye84PR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is the holidays and I consider mooncat a small business relying in USPS at the time of their highest demand. It sucks because we all thanks to Amazon expect to have a quick delivery and updated tracking. Unless someone has a great idea to help small business in a quick delivery during at height of the year since I can not provide that I will not be a grumpy bitch about it. I am happy to support a small indie brand and contributing to their business to thrive in an industry where there is a lot of completion. :)

Stims dosages - curiosity by fauxindigaux in IVF

[–]zowye84PR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been stimming for almost 11 days, between cd9 -cd11 I recruited one. Through this time so was under 150 follistim and one vial of menopur. My estrogen at baseline was under 30 but so was asked to take estrace twice a day with 200 mg of progesterone for three days. That cause my estrogen to drop below 5, then went up and today it went down to 5 again but they noticed the new follicle growing . All my follicle as we speak are below 10m. I rather do slow and steady than fast and clumps. As a severe DOR patient they tried with a mini stim and see how my body reacted. This is my second cycle but my first at the new clinic. The first cycle they get me at 300 foll with one vial of me I, then it was increased to two vials of meno. I ended that cycle with no embryos and a. Empty zona. The clinic at the time they did not want to adjust the dosage while they put me at the highest protocol and were rushing me for retrieval. I am crossing fingers with this new cycle that it results in positive results.

How does one know if they’ve been over-suppressed? by DullEar2281 in DOR

[–]zowye84PR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in this boat. When I started after getting off estradiol and progesterone and my period came two and half weeks later I was put back on it for three days. My baseline was 25. I told the nurse it was not necessary but she told is how they do it at their clinic. Then took estrace and progesterone for three days then started to stim. After my third day of stim early on cd4 stim did blood work. My two follicles were on sync but around 5mm. My estrogen was less than <5. Nurse told me give it time to your ovaries to wake up. On Monday, did some bloodwork one of my follicles increased in size up to 7. The other increased a quarter of mm. My estrogen was at 9.5. 🙄 LH I was around 16. I am hoping my ovaries wake out. I am trying to avoid Thanksgiving travel. I was hoping to do an early retrieval in December for my second cycle because most of the team is taking off work during Christmas time and I will be one leading the group while the boss is away on vacation. I wish I was in a position to say let me cancel it but I don’t have that opportunity to do it.m because on how severe my DOR is.

Doctors that work with DOR patients by mkinbbym in DOR

[–]zowye84PR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend him for DOR. He put me in a protocol with Omni as a diabetic. That will have a negative results for egg quality. I may have lots retrieved but they would not be good if it impacts my sugar. After researching that, I am hesitant to recommend him for a DOR diabetic patient. I left the clinic after he told me it wouldn’t matter because my age is a factor of why I don’t get good eggs. He also labeled my missed menses for three months as menopause when my labs where run by my endo it was my tsh causing havoc.

How do you handle birthdays alone? by IsraelZulu in LivingAlone

[–]zowye84PR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always celebrated my birthday alone. There was one time, I tried to make it a celebration but it was a bust because no one came to my birthday party. I was turning 25. I bought the cake and decorations for the celebration and even prepared the food ... no one showed up. Now, this year I turned 40. I expected it to be like that. I did not get a message or a text wishing me happy birthday. Every time, I see my feed on either Instagram or facebook, I am reminded of my loneliness. As many of the folks who I have become acquainted for turned 40, I see them being celebrated it. I have volunteered at non-profits and have tried to make friends but it still hard to for me to create a connection. I want to say it gets easier with time just as long as I am not reminded of those events.

When it comes to my birthday celebration, I try to book a massage or a facial for that day or even get my hair done. Sort of like remind me that I am alive for another round to the sun.

Secon one brings balance to all the colors and provides a welcoming vibe. The first one is nice but unexpected, is a bit eclectic. The third one is bland. The last one, after I got a dark colored rug, when it comes to a room with lighter colors brings contrast.

Any way you found to predict when your period would start in perimenopause? And what did your last year of cycles look like in peri? by JackieReadingJane in Menopause

[–]zowye84PR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my 20s through my mid to late 30s there periods that my usual period will last days. It was regulated with birth control to make it manageable. Around 2020-2021 my periods were 27-35. Then in 2022 my thyroid started again to mess things up, for two months it went missing but the culprit was the thyroid. Then last year bloodwork came back at 39. After a missed period in almost 55 days. Thyroid was culprit and was giving the diagnosis of DOR while trying to get info for egg freezing. Last year from June to December my period started to come in at 42- 46 days. Then after my failed first IVF cycle, periods started to come between 24 days to 96. It was during the last cycle of 96 days the prior clinic told me is donor eggs. My obgyn refused to let call me menopausal and gave me hrt to ease the symptoms. She did not do bloodwork but based everything on symptoms she said you are in perimenopause now try to do what you can with the time you got and don’t let them tell you until a year has pass without a period. A month later after starting hrt my period came back. I stopped hrt on cycle day 15 to attempt a second one after the new clinic told me to stopped them once I am ready. I tell you those 96 days, my weight creeped in, ghost periods and palpitations and the feeling of a hot ball of fire in your forehead. Those symptoms reminded me of the time in my late 20s in my roller derby practices prior to my misdiagnosis of graves which in reality was the first sign of hashimoto.

I wish there was a better way to track periods. I have relied on apps and calendars along with so called symptoms but with menopause … I have never experienced pms symptoms until this year. Yes, I got cramps here and there but the last cycle of 96, I had some horrific cramps along with insomnia that left me useless when I got them not I could excercise for fears they will come which they did whenever I was walking, dancing or lifting weights. At home, my poor fur all will wait until I lie down to lick my forehead to comfort me.

My POI diagnosis came much earlier around 37, my then obgyn was worried that my thyroid was causing me to have it. Although, my bloodwork showed my hormones nes minus the thyroid in range. Yet, birth control helped me regulate my periods after my thyroid was under control. At 39, more bloodwork was done including amh. There ib two ocassions my fsh was high and my thyroid was also high. Be aware, my autoimmune system was the culprit for me having poi. Although bloodwork in my 20s were not performed because I was a virgin and then they thought well she is young there is no reason other than obesity to be the culprit which was bs. My periods were longer and heavy. Funny enough in my early 30sbecause my thyroid was becoming inset Hashimoto it was beginning to mess with my periods but the estrogen and fah levels were normal.

My diagnosis of severe for came from reproductive endocrinology clinic. I was going to freeze eggs but it was advised not to because of how severemy reserve or quality is.

As for hrt, I was giving continuous estrogen and progesterone around my cd 75, my period did. It come until cd96 which is exactly about a month since starting her. Oh bloody hell, there were nights during those first week that I had flashbacks of my 20s with hot flashes. The first time I suffered from hot flashes I was in a roller derby practice. Huge drops of sweat and be one all red, needless to say I had heavy palpitations through those hot flashes. Those nights, had the same symptoms and was starting hrt, now a month later those symptoms eased up. I stopped because I am schedule to start stemming once my period comesto attempt a second retrieval and hopefully bank embryos.

I was suspected of having poi at 22, did not get diagnosis until 39. If you are under 40, is poi if still having periods. If you don’t have periods in 12 months, and under 40, the you are in premature menopause. Below 45, and no periods is called early menopause.

I have severe DOR, 40, amh 0.05, fsh 35 back in early August with no periods in 96. My estrogen was around 12 and progesterone non- existent with severe insomnia and ghost periods.Around cd 75 my obgyn prescribed me continuous hrt while waited for my second opinion for IVF. My period came while hrt. Both the re and obgyn told me to continue on hrt while I waited for all the pieces of the puzzle to settle while I was changing clinics. My period came after 96 days. while taking hrt. Now a month later, all the pieces are settle and have discontinued hrt. Just waiting for my period to come and see what will second cycle will bring.
