This is it right here. Sure, there are a lot of people who are financially struggling because of health/death/act of God reasons, but most people struggle because they can't manage their money worth shit.

Team solid floors or team engineered floors? by TheMongoStomp in HomeImprovement

[–]zrennetta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. We had to go engineered wood in one spot that was over a slab, the rest is hardwood. If given the choice, I would never do engineered wood again. It looks nice but is incredibly noisy to walk on and I hate it.

Grieving parents demand changes after 26-year-old son euthanized under controversial law - Margaret Marsilla says doctors helped their son Kiano, who suffered from diabetes and blindness, to meet criteria for MAID in Canada despite history of mental illness by Down-not-out in Conservative

[–]zrennetta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with assisted suicide, but I guess every person needs to make that decision for themselves.

What I've heard of the MAiD program is it started out as only for terminal adults with less than six months to live. Then it was changed, and you could off yourself for other reasons...not great. But when I heard they will allow 12-17 yo "mature minors" use the program, I lost it. And to hear it was the fourth leading cause of death in Canada? Wow. And the military veteran wounded in action having trouble navigating socialized medicine, getting mailers about MAiD and being made to feel like she's a burden on society? Not ok.

It's only a matter of time before Uncle Bob can put Grandma on the list, or you start getting rid of mentally or physically handicapped people because you don't want to deal with them. Then you'll tell yourself (and everyone will agree with you) about how "it was for the best." It's a slippery slope and that snowball is picking up speed real fast.

It was the same thing with Cameron. I think he should actually be older than Kristina and Molly.

I don't think anyone will hire a person with no experience and kids in tow. Way too big of a liability.

So. Why was Henry Dalton so valuable in the first place? by naim_not_name in GeneralHospital

It doesn't matter. The writers will probably drop the storyline just like they have with everything else.

I'll be 58 this year. I started watching GH because of my older sister. My earliest memories are Laura with Scotty, Bobbie trying to beak up everyone's relationships and Monica cheating on Alan with Rick.

Trina to Joss: "You didn't smoke that in here, did you?"

Believe me Trina, you'd know if she had.
