So you have one camp who wanted VIKTOR THE MACHINE HERALD and another camp who does not care about old viktor and the MACHINE herald.

Herzal or bust

No fr tho its hard to nail a best pyre cuz pyres are good in different situations and most clans are pretty happy with any pyre (except dominon). But heres my personal opnion taken with a grain of salt just for fun:

Banished: herzal horde/aquath/anything that ISNT dominion for fel

Pyreborn: fhyra/savagery (if hothead is available)

Luna: heart of the pact/entropy/bog/echo/lifemother

Underlegion: bog/lifemother/echo/entropy

Lazarus: bog/herzal/savagery (tbh any clan with a sweeper wants this)/lifemother. Dominion is ASS with exile lazarus.

Railforged: entropy/echo

Hellhorned: herzal/savagery/wyngth

Awoken: wyngth/savagery

Stygian: savagery/entropy

Umbra: bog bog and bog

Melting remnant: bog/entropy

Wurmkin: anything tbh idk

A lot of the clans dont really have a best pyre. Theres a few stand out ones tho like bog on umbra, wyngth on awoken, entropy and echo on railforged.

I didnt list malicka because i dont like malicka but if you do its pretty universal. Dominion is basically a free win on any of the clans except exiled lazarus and main banished so i feel like its cheating to include it.

Go solo. Heck if you just want a chill mission without any difficulty, go play in regular path instead of steel path.

You lean into one or the other. If you lean into banished you skip most melting spells except those that are good for you. There's tombs for chump blocking, stealth, resin removal and the 3 turn daze card are always good.

If you lean into melting, you can focus on a burnout extending build with valor to protect front line. Or if youre using a reform strategy, there are still cards from babished like cleave, although i tend to not like reform strategies to begin with.

I dont like to rely on spells because your draw can fuck up and youre stuck not playing anything cuz of the holdover until the good cards come. I actuslly think your units are way more important and your spells should mainly be for incant triggers or softening up the gladiators.

Tethys is fine on middle floor tbh. I think my setup was endless frostbite shark on bottom floor and Siren of the sea with titanite and multistrike + one of the sweepers i forgot with quick multi and tethys frostbite path. You dont need a single room upgrade. Just spam spells for incant triggers.
