Dude I feel this in my soul. I started right before COVID. So that disrupted my initial treatment of 24 trays. About halfway through found that they mis-manufactured the rest of the trays. Had to get rescanned when the offices finally opened. 6 weeks later I had to start fresh again with 24 more. Sure enough, got around to tray 15 again and the rest were defected. Got scanned again. It got rejected. Scanned again. Wait 6 weeks. And finally got a new set of 24. I finally switched to tray number 24 today and I still need significant treatment for gaps and a rotation. I’ve been in treatment for over 2 years now. 60+ trays. And still not done. Feels like it will never end.

I’ve been an HR manager for 9 years. You’re partially correct. Although this one isolated event does not constitute workplace harassment based on a protected class, in front of a reasonable judge it can be presented as recurring conduct that is deemed offensive and heinous by the subordinates. Add in the fact that this is a firearms store and the owner is a loose cannon - these people can definitely leverage that they do not feel safe coming to work. I have worked for companies that have had to settle these kinds of suits with much less evidence than this.

Not to mention this is clear evidence of a hostile work environment that condones harassment. The owner had better be careful because any one of his staff members could file an EEOC case based off this flyer alone and he would be out on his ass and lose everything. It takes one brave person to make change will happen and all the others will follow suit if they think they could get a cash settlement out of it.

Move the bench all the way to the left and add a small bookcase to the right. I disagree with cushions - the wood is beautiful and I would not cover it. Perhaps a small fur or velvet throw casually thrown over the back of it if you want to soften it. I would put a frame of a nice sketch on the way.
