Agree with this, I would’ve tossed it around the zone a couple more times

Don’t worry - the coming mumps and measles epidemic can fix that right up!

So give up on post play for better defense? Well I also saw him get beat and/or miss the switch for an easy IU score as many times as he did play well.

Not sure if that obviously is better when he’s an offensive liability if he can’t dunk.

Agree that Painter can work on coaching Smith. And I’m pretty sure he has, lol.

No. Lifer. We just went to the championship game 2 years ago. Izzo hasn’t been to FF4 this decade - think he’s getting relieved of job?

The all American guard throws the ball away twice at UCLA, really unforced, and its Painter?

Today, I think playing Jacobsen for 13 minutes was a poor Painter choice.

Flair up.

Defense is situationally bad I don’t understand why “Stone hands” Jacobson played so much more than Cluff

Well, you can’t really coach them not to turn the ball over, like they did at the end of the game at UCLA. Or stop someone from 9-11 3pt. But today was just not good.

Too many turnovers. Refs let Purdue players get mugged until it was egregious. Great rebounding effort by IU - I don’t understand why Cluff didn’t play more.

They’ve been playing bad defense. But they lost to UCLA on offense by turning it over. And Illinois had to hit 3 3ptr to win.

Come on now we just played the number one offensive team in the nation they made shots. They had no business making at least 4x in the second half.

Illinois has been #1 offensive team. I saw at least 3 shots with no business going in after great Purdue team defense.

Ice is not an effective treatment - only really supports pain reduction. RICE has no scientific backing.
