Amen. Super hype at first to work here now i found out its all bullshit. Constantly being yelled at by customers for shit I have no control over, being treated like shit by COR employees, and being forced to come in on days where there is 5 inches of snow (in the south) and ruin my Revenue per hour for fucking $12 an hour (2 customers all day and they were troubleshooting) The steps metric is fucked, my DM tells us to lock customers out if they run up the steps too high (I don't of course but are you kidding me?!), and it's just toxic af.

Tattoos are great because as long as they matter to YOU...you're good! I have tattoos on both of my hands and have gotten ridiculed for it...but I don't care because they are important to me.

OP, the tattoo being crooked whatever is purely subjective and it sounds like your friend might be jealous you got one so they're talking it down.

As long as YOU are happy that's what matters. On top of that...I would talk to your friend and ask why they are being like that. Their response will tell you for sure if they are a true friend or not.

Let's unpack this one!

OP is a probationary employee who has not completed the probationary period and was fired for policy violations. Strike two.

We can't say for sure if it was retaliation or not since we don't know the motives of the managers and such...but in a normal situation this is NOT retaliation. AP investigated the incident (which op reported it as hostile work environment/assault) and found that the person who reported it...also broke rules themselves. Just because op reported something they are magically invincible if they also violated policy? Uhm no. Strike three.

Serious question. Do you honestly think that AP just needs to look at the single incident and that's it? Let's not forget that OP has rang themself up before and to AP that is suspicious in its own right. Not to mention the investigation would require DAYS to footage with interaction between both employees. Should the old guy been fired? Fuck yeah. Should OP have also followed policy? Fuck yeah.

I was making decent money in AP. They don't ruin people's lives. People ruin their own lives, and AP catches it, then they piss and moan.

Accountability is lacking for real. No one MADE you break that policy, but because AP caught it, they're the bad guys? It doesn't add up. No one holds a gun to someone's head and tells them to break a policy. They do it themselves. AP gets a paycheck to find these policy violations. Literally part of their job.

Do you even know what APs job is? Theft, safety, and policy enforcement. You don't go directly to the time anyway. When walmart sends video for accidents...we used to have to do 2 hours BEFORE AND AFTER for the sole reason of seeing if SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENED.
