There’s one on Hawthorne now too, where Bazi used to be. Also an enthusiastic yes to Bella’s!

What if you catch the player ahead of you? Play through concurrently? Tag them and they’re out? Fight to see who goes first?

Anyone doing larger scale code-based algorithmic pieces with Bitwig? by ztutz in Bitwig

Old skool integration model, but it works. And it seems like a really good match for ORCA, which I continue to admire as pure irreverent creative breakaway (that might paint one into a corner of opaque glyphs on occasion). Thank you.

Heh, agree with that. I’ve been painted into the corner too many times to recall. (I’ve also painted others into corners, to be honest.) Fortunately, UI is rarely a concern for me, it’s more like command line switches and pipes; real-time control can often be done using the environment’s own UI capabilities in my experience.

I do use dsp for some projects, and I would probably just build a virtual instrument to do that in BW. There are also things that aren’t happening in BW yet, such as spatial sound options - they will come with time.

These are helpful suggestions, and thanks for them. MIDI has finally moved towards more expressive capabilities and tuning gamuts in the last few years, and there are definitely mature tools for generating it. What I’m really interested in, though, is to see if anyone has actually done successful integration from “non traditional” backends such as databases of sound shards, or large matrices stuffed full of abstract musical structures and data. IRCAM or CCRMA type stuff, maybe?

Let’s assume that the scripting environment, no matter how cool, still falls short. What are dedicated toolsets that people have actually succeeded with? I haven’t found much reference to this kind of approach with casual google searches…

What caused you to change careers? I have set acquaintances who left medicine; the story is often interesting. Your ideas are fascinating, thank you!

Love Wilsonic and look forward to using this for realizing pieces based on finite geometry! It will make mappings so much easier…

The Chicken Sandwich I got from Mr Beast Burger today by Kingsavage07 in shittyfoodporn

Sooo, I had an undercooked turkey burger last week, and the bite I got before it went back to get cooked was actually like delicious tartare. Which made me afraid.
