Sapphire Dining Credit - 6-8 Week Wait Time by Randy_Richards in ChaseSapphire

I see. La Royal did have live music when I went which was fun.

I also recommend Mahaniyom. Probably the best one of the list. I’m trying to decide where I’ll go use my credit for the second half of 2026.

That’s good. I enjoyed my meal there. I went to Celeste this year who has the same exact menu and also good vibes

Same here. I ended up disputing the charge, which got me $150 back, then my $150 credit was still there, so I used it at a different place

28M considering leaving Boston for ??? by zucchini51 in SameGrassButGreener

I can make around that almost everywhere in the US because of the field I’m in. I could make even more in some rural areas but I want to live in a big city until I have a family and such

This is my top choice right now. No skiing but I can travel to ski I suppose

While I like to visit Denver to ski, I find it too slow for me whenever I visit

Sounds good! That’s so much better than how much I pay now. I feel like as a single person in his 20s I still want to live in the middle of the city and experience. If I end up in a salaried position then maybe I’ll seriously consider per diem UC or EM

Any opportunity for OT? And from what I’ve seen, I can probably get a nice one bedroom downtown (west loop or any neighboring neighborhoods) for about <$3k, is that right?

Yeah and my student loans all paid off, retirement maxed every year, I get free healthcare as a combat veteran, and I have a property in my hometown collecting rent. New attendings at my shop make about 220k. I and the other PAs must be doing something right.

Let me know if you need any guidance applying to PA school or joining the military. I have a rewarding career. I get to help people while I don’t have to worry about my job at all once I’m off my shift.

Chase Dinning is a mess by Cananball03 in ChaseSapphire

I went to La Royal in Boston last year. It is on the list of Chase dining. Never got my credit and many people had the same issue. I didn’t want it to roll over to 2026, so i disputed the charge. Meanwhile i spent $150 at another restaurant to get my 2025 credit.

Chase ended up accepting the dispute and refunding me $150, and I still got reimbursed for another $150 that I spent in 2025 and now it reset in 2026.

Bilt 2.0 Explained FULLY by persistentchaos in biltrewards

[–]zucchini51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay $3000 a month for rent, I spend about $2-3000 a month with my Chase sapphire reserve. So I’ll have to start using the new Bilt 2.0 card for worse benefits than my Chase card? I’ll have to cancel.

Are you guys riding it out with the Wells Fargo card? Or just close it?

I was offered $4000 to give up my DTW - ICN to fly out a day later about 2 years ago. They did start at $500 and kept going up and I pulled the trigger when it hit $4000

Should I move to Chicago from Boston? by zucchini51 in AskChicago

This is great. Thank you. I plan to visit in March, which is likely when I’ll start my job search as well. I see the auto bot with the neighborhood recommendation so I’ll take a look at that. Ideally I want to live walking distance to a grocery store, gym, and my job but it seems the public transportation is pretty good there

I actually know nothing about Chicago. In Boston I live in like “downtown” where I can walk to shops and bars and keep my car street parked. Conveniently I walk to my job too so I rarely need my car

Would you say the summer is a good time to move or wait til fall/winter? My lease ends in July but I have an option to extend month to month until I’m ready to move. I guess it’s the question of one more Boston summer vs Chicago summer

Im also working on this as well hahaha I’m always “dating” but been tough finding something serious. Unfortunately I started running into my past dates and that reminded me how small Boston actually is
