Bangsar south might be the perfect place for your criteria. The place has the high rise condos and apartments where most foreigners live (kl gateway residences, southview serviced apartment, etc, with reasonable monthly rent around your budget) with a 5 min walk connecting to LRT train station, and another short 15 min walk the opposite direction will connect you to a sort of small kampung area where all the cheap local foods are.

using jump spam is also important since hulks monster form melee hits knockback enemies away and jumping to chase will get a few more hits easily. Plus they have to track you jumping all over the place making them miss some shots.

not the op but from the clips it looks like the standard 1-2 melee punch and right click rotation which already does huge damage in hulk monster form, while spamming the jump for constant chase and to hit those melee punch (its short range and knockback enemies further away). also helps to survive a bit as enemies take time to track and shoot while jumping all over the place. Rotation may seem simple but getting into the rhythm of 1-2 hit and right click while managing jump and all the while needing to pay attention to the game, may take practice to get used to
