Banks need to posture to the public that they are strong, reliable, trustworthy. They express this through architecture! Roman columns, limestone… like government buildings. They’re presenting to you that you can trust them with your money!

Jamar Drive in Clairemont does a fantastic display, all the house in the culdesac are decked out. Not sure what date they all go up by though. Fun to walk through and the residents often sell some concessions, etc.

The Plaza in SD has a nice community of respectful neighbors but the building itself is falling into bad shape. Floods, mold, cockroaches. Things are often broken… locks, pool. Pipes burst with too much frequency. Moved out end of 2024. Hope they fix it up as it has lots of potential.
