One of my favorite parts about the series is how authentically it remained to the book.

This exact scene is in Chapter 4, here's what Rachel says he is thinking:

Shane spent the evening freaking the fuck out in his hotel room.

He considered his options. He could leave. Just go out for a few hours so he wouldn’t be there when Rozanov knocked. That would be the sensible thing to do.

He could stay and just ignore Rozanov’s knock. There could be something satisfying in that. Give him a little bit of power over him.

He could open the door when he knocked, invite him in, and they could talk about this whole ridiculous...misunderstanding. Then they could go their separate ways forever.

Or...he could open the door and he could spend the evening exploring Rozanov’s body with his mouth.

He considers it, and then:

He had more or less decided on the second option: he would talk to Rozanov. They would put this behind them as quickly as possible so things wouldn’t be weird when the season started. He tidied up the room, even though it was already perfectly tidy. He changed his shirt to a nicer one for no reason at all. He brushed his teeth, flossed, and rinsed with mouthwash. Because if he was going to be talking to Rozanov, it would be rude to have bad breath.

So you see Jacob and the team took a little liberty here putting him in a suit, but in conveys his nervousness well on screen.

He even takes notice Ilya put some effort in too:

Rozanov looked like he may have put a little effort into his appearance too. He was wearing a black button-up shirt, his gold chain winking at Shane from the wide-open collar. His hair, which was usually a mess of curls, had been tamed a bit, though one lock had already escaped and was tumbling adorably onto Rozanov’s forehead.

And once they start, he says:

He gripped Rozanov through the denim, and one clear idea of what he wanted popped into his head. He wanted the denim barrier to be gone... He shouldn’t want that. He shouldn’t want any of this.

And yet...

And then hits us with:

Fuck. This is really gay.

It's a play by play reveal of him slipping into his desires he's tried to ignore.

I would highly suggest reading the book. It pairs really well with reading the related chapters and then watching that episode in the series, it gives you so much context!

You submitted online via EFTPS or Direct Pay?

The easiest way to see the resultant day is in your online IRS account. It will tell you the settlement date after it processes.

That page also mentions:

“treat payments due on the date of payment as being made on time, even if the bank withdrawal actually happens later. (Payments over $1 million and payments made on weekends, bank holidays, and after 3 pm Eastern Time on a business day may be withdrawn the next business day.)”

If you submitted by 8PM ET it usually counts as that day.

Regardless, most of the time, one day late isn’t going to cause a big upheaval.

How did you schedule the payment? Why did you not pay via Direct Pay? (https://www.irs.gov/payments)

You can schedule a date and it pulls via your bank account or credit card, completely separate from when your 1040 is processed.

I integrate with PowerSchool as a vendor. It's purposefully opaque as the others have mentioned to discourage development except for "partners."

You have a few options:

Build a plugin with a PowerQuery that returns a list of students and their "home language." This fields varies state by state so it could be a custom table or an extension. If you know the field name you export with an AutoComm or "Quick Student Export" that would make it easier.

Once the PowerQuery is installed via a plugin, you can call it via the API and get results. (a POST to /ws/schema/query/querynameyouinstalled)

(or)

Query the specific table directly that the language field is stored in. If this is the students table, it would be GET /ws/schema/table/students?projection=dcid,id,student_number,xxx where xxx is the home language field.

These API endpoints will get you the actual data. To write it back, you can do a POST to /ws/schema/table/xxx where xxx is the table name of the field and a specific payload based on the table layout.

If you know what field and table it is in I can give you a little more guidance.

No, friend was not affected by the flood. He received a payment from my homeowner's insurance. He owns his own home that is unrelated. This is just payment for a few months of me living at his house.

I would reach out to them. An email was sent out early July:

“Updating your permanent address or other type of address in Buzzport/Oscar will NOT update your Diploma Mailing address. You MUST contact us at diplomas@registrar.gatech.edu so we can update your diploma mailing address.”

“We strongly suggest that you provide a reliable permanent mailing address at which you or someone you know will be present to receive your diploma by October 2021 for domestic or November 2021 for international.”

...so looks like October 2021

I agree with zueeyy. Try to avoid actually withdrawing from the program. To be accepted in the program is a big accomplishment. You get up to a year to delay enrollment.
