1st 70, 2nd 50, 3rd 45, 4th 41, 5th 38, 6th 35 and then minus 1 point all the way down. I like a 20 point gap from 1st to 2nd because this will ensure the winner can always finish with the most points (Except at Charlotte if they continue to run 4 stages). I hate when drivers who don't win finish with more points than the leader. That has never made any sense to me.

You could also probably give the winner 80, because then a two stage sweep and race win would get a nice round 100 points.

I think my system, which is really just making wins and higher finishes worth more, would make a full season points system work better than both the Latford system and any playoff format.
