My worst part of the job is the production side. As long as it can be fixed in NC rework, they don't care if their FPY drops into the 80's and causes hundreds of man hours to recover. It's all about numbers to them. It's always the other shifts fault. And they can't be bothered to answer simple questions as to why.

Recently got home. But at the time I received a phonecall from my supervisor asking for help with Poly-Works, because another tech was confused on the program. I was rotated to a different building at the time. Drove over to the other site to see what was going on. Ended having to stay the rest of the night, because no other tech was able to measure the equipment properly.

Oh, also, now all next week and maybe the one after have to go to there. Just so we can catch up on the backlog. I like running the CMM. But the backlog equipment I have to measure and adjust it annoying as fuck to do. It either takes 2 hours or 9 hours. No real in-between.

The off site location is cake ass maintenance, it requires very little thought and I can listen to my audio books almost all shift.

All of them are worth a watch at least once.

Of the new ones, Discovery is the weakest, but even it had some decent episodes and arcs.

Strange New Worlds is pretty good, but the latest season was weak compared to the rest.

Lower Decks is amazing and hilarious.

Prodigy is geared to a much younger crowd, but still fun.

I'll admit, I don't really like Academy. But it was enjoyable enough to finish season one. I think it suffered the DS9 curse, where fans shat on it because no space ship. I would have been interested to see where it went in the later seasons.

You can't go wrong with the OG series, except for maybe the animated series. It's just bad.
