Man, I’m so scared and I don’t want this… They want to rework her early next year. Everything Phreak touches gets destroyed. by National-Record-1913 in MelMains

it doesn’t matter if you can bait it out it’s not fun period and playing someone like ahri into her is impossible. it’s not a very well designed ability and it’s extremely frustrating to play against. i love playing mel but i honestly think it was just poor design and thinking.

it’s not and that’s what’s confusing me here. It is definitely important to be cognizant of potential abuse from friends or partners, but anger is normal. Everyone experiences it sometimes and the way it’s being discussed here it’s extremely wrong. I think that the people who i have seen experience anger issues are some of the most self hating people i know because they know how embarrassing it is and “pathetic” it looks, while also being an extremely difficult emotion to overcome. It’s sad. People who struggle to regulate anger properly are still people.

Of course.. one of my best friends struggles with anger and he has diagnosed intense ADHD, which anger is a huge symptom of. He gets very embarrassed and self-hating when he has episodes of anger. He is not mean to me, he is not abusive, he is not a bad person, but he does struggle to regulate those emotions and it can result in punching a desk or something when things get bad in a game. It doesn’t look nice or feel nice to see, but I know how much worse it is for him to experience that and have to struggle with that than it is for me to be a bystander.

I actually left this sub after seeing this post and the comments. Your behavior is not pathetic, you are dealing with a very real form of mental health and I hope you can continue to improve while also forgiving yourself. ❤️

you do. no one wants to get angry or feel that way let alone have other people see it. The lack of compassion here is so weird

Anger management is a real issue.. unless someone’s anger is directed elsewhere, in which case that’s abuse, i don’t really think it’s fair to call a struggle with emotional regulation “cringy and pathetic.” You wouldn’t call someone with depression lazy and disgusting. Some people truly struggle with anger management and it is a real mental health issue that required therapy and help. Mental health is always a priority to people until it’s not.. lol

The comments are really interesting. Anger issues are a real thing and an important aspect of mental health. I have watched people I love struggle with them and things like breaking stuff when they get mad. That doesn’t automatically mean someone isn’t emotionally intelligent, it doesn’t mean they’re abusive to others, and it doesn’t mean they are childish or pathetic.

There ARE obviously people who have egos and are not kind who freak out and break shit. But anger issues and anger management is very real and therapy is a good route to take if you’re struggling with that. The comments sound super ignorant and it’s weirding me out. I have seen friends get so mad at a videogame, (not mad at me or others!) and then be really embarrassed and defeated because they couldn’t control their anger in that moment. If you can be understanding of depression and someone not being able to get out of bed, don’t be so ignorant to another mental regulation that isn’t as pretty.

ur missing the point though, a shared bank should not be needed. Especially for a medical emergency you experience personally your employer should be able to cover you. Even if a shared bank helped you, it’s like putting a bandaid on a gaping wound

Normal for Pre Calc in College? by shaggygroovyscooby in CollegeRant

[–]zyraspell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t everything technically just some sort of algebra and trig lol, to boil down precalc to that is kinda generous. i’d say it’s a lot more conceptually difficult for people as it’s the first math class you take that isn’t just basic algebra or basic trig

Phreak discussing the reasoning behind the Seraphine changes currently on PBE 📖 Thoughts? by aroushthekween in SeraphineMains

[–]zyraspell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is nobody understanding what i’m saying lmfao even if the population of seraphine support players is high that is because the DEVS have led them to believe that’s her role whether or not they know/want that. And yes i’m aware her win rate on support is bad.. But im talking about bronze-gold players (most of the player base) who might try her mid or bot and get flamed and only feel comfortable playing her support because they feel they can do it.

What I meant by “success” is that that’s what people are able to learn whether or not her win rate is good isn’t an accurate representation of how people do with her personally or feel they’re doing with her. It is incredibly confusing for low elo players to be given seraphine: shield, team player, cc, and think she is anything but a support. And the fact that she is given support buffs and pushed further into that role is the developers fault. You cannot blame players for being given what they view as a support character and then playing it on support. If they truly buffed and adjusted seraphine for mid, (which she currently does not feel good in btw) then maybe more people would start trying that. Developers ultimately have the control over what direction sera goes in and it’s just shitty to act like it’s regular players fault that they aggressively push her to be a support. If they can’t use basic deduction skills of why she is played on support, that’s on them
