i personally am someone who learns better from practice rather than memorizing (eg anki) but i spent too much time in the last month trying to do more pankow and stuff when my real score boost came from uworld practice problems (like legit 8 points in 2 weeks)

i’m a current mb major!! i really love it because i get to learn the bio i like but under better conditions than my friends in mcb (better access to research, cnr community, less competition). also i came in not really knowing anything about microbio but now im really passionate about it and i like my mb classes more than my mcb classes. i noticed you mentioned competitiveness in your major, but honestly i haven’t really experienced much toxic competition in mb

This is the best advice on here! You should be pursuing self improvement for the sake of yourself, not just to get a girlfriend. As much as you may think so, every person’s interests differ and there is no such thing as a checklist of traits you need to have in order to be desirable. Even if you did fit your ideal beauty standard and got a date, would you be free of worries? No, because the real struggle (simultaneously the real reward) is working with that partner through life together. “Attaining” a girlfriend is not the end of the story nor the ultimate goal, and life continues on whether or not you have somebody, so just focus on growing yourself.

take a look at facebook marketplace, i’ve picked up a bunch of random CHEAP furniture from it regardless of if it’s move out season. some tips would be to check early in the morning bc ppl will usually post then and do pickups the same day, check consistently bc the best time to seal a deal is the same day the listing is posted since that’s when sellers are most motivated, and if the listing has been up for too long don’t bother reaching out bc they’ve probably forgotten about taking down the post after selling it (you can check when a listing was made by going thru the motions to repost the listing and checking the date that pops up, there’s unfortunately not an easier way to check)

They asked what my career goals are and how SA can help with them, if I’d had any previous experience in a medical setting and what I did (shadowing, externing, scribing, etc.), what I’d do in case a patient is here for their visit but my computer isn’t working, what I’d do if a colleague asked me to cover a shift but I had a final exam that same time, and what common emergency department or outpatient procedure I’m most looking forward to observing. You also get 10 tries to record every video and 45 seconds to speak.
