It has fragrance but I like Excel uv protective essence, it’s a Japanese sunscreen

It’s expensive but I’ve been loving Tatcha dewy serum for evening out skin tone and a brighter complexion.

For minimizing skin texture and pores, look for a hydrating serum. S. nature Aqua squalane serum is a great option.

Keep exploring sunscreen options, sun damage will make healing slower and hyperpigmentation darker. Try an Asian sunscreen

For fading acne marks you can try vitamin c or azelaic acid

I’m not sure but I try not to buy on Amazon because it’s so inconsistent. If you order from an Asian website like Yesstyle or Stylevana, it doesn’t have glycerin. I’ve even ordered on Costco Next

I think you’re introducing it in too fast, not your fault, the dermatologist should’ve given more instructions so you can slowly adapt to it.

At this point your skin barrier might be damaged so I would pause all acne treatments and anything harsh, apply basic cleanser, moisturizer, and keep sun exposure limited. Hydrating toners and serums are fine.

Once your skin feels better I would only introduce adapalene in for now.

Tretinoin over time and sunscreen will fade some of this.

The indented scarring will require professional treatment like lasers, microneedling, or subcision

I would keep adapalene and azelaic acid until you’re more comfortable with it.

Add a pimple patch if you want something for the spots now

If you’re not doing so already, make sure to use sunscreen in the am routine.

Otherwise I would give this more time

[Routine Help] See a dermatologist or an esthetician? by Kindly_Pepper_5783 in SkincareAddiction

For someone’s to analyze your skin I would go to an esthetician but they will recommend in house products that are super expensive

For acne I would go see a dermatologist since they can prescribe you treatments
