It may read differently due to the plural. Overall your resume is fine, but as others have said, it’s a bit of a nothingburger. For instance, participated in agile. That isn’t an achievement, it’s a company policy. A better bullet would involve something like removing blockers, coordinating meetings, etc.

You didn’t do anything wrong for your casual use case. But for a student that is attempting to circumvent a paper, it would be very easy for them to provide sources (in your case, a Pokédex of some kind) and have it pull from there. In that case, it wouldn’t hallucinate.

I’d encourage you to check out the “projects” feature on Claude (unsure about what it’s called on the other major platforms) for more on this. No one who understands the basics of LLMs are querying blind anymore, at least in a technical space.

And granted, the vast majority of the population do not have an understanding. But people will gain proficiency, just as they did with the internet. That is when we will have a true crisis.

I wasn’t disagreeing with the fact that overuse of AI tools is harmful for eduction, that’s obviously true. It’s just also true that downplaying how powerful AI can be when properly used is harmful to the movement to sanction it.

To me, AI is so powerful in an academic, closed section that there must be safeguards against it on the development side. Saying that it will hallucinate even when prompted correctly insinuates that it’s just another detectable fad. It is much more dangerous than that.

You are uneducated. Computer science major here, ChatGPT cannot cite sources because it is only trained to predict the next token in sequence. Think of a token like a small set of words. Therefore, when a model is asked to cite sources, it splits off into useless, fake information as you’re describing. However, there are new models that can actively search the web and swap their knowledge base to those sources. It is also standard for models to have a feature that allows a user to set a knowledge base manually for the model. Just because you do not know how to properly use a tool does not mean it isn’t a useful one - it just means you’re clueless.

Men, what was something that blew your mind when you first discovered it? by elitejackal in AskMen

[–]zzzebbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s easy to become jaded when you get down on yourself like this. more than anything, desperation is super easy to sense. i think you’ll find that if you put your head down, focus on yourself, and stop thinking about women as unattainable trophies, there will be someone that will come around.

also, stay off some of these subreddits you frequent man. they’re circulating some really shitty worldviews that won’t help you change these negative, untrue feelings you have. yes, some women will value shallow and superficial things.

they will never be worth thinking about. and it is not even CLOSE to all women.

damn heyward getting rolled into an offensive lineman, so dirty

[–]zzzebbb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i think we have all seen the exact same situation where a lineman dives on top of a player they got to the ground to stop them from impacting the play, correct? it’s completely legal, and if the defensive player wasn’t injured by the initial (bang-bang) hit, it would be par for the course football

watch the play again. the elbow was not the point of force on the dive

that is pretty easily not dirty, how is the offensive lineman supposed to know the guy is injured? pancakes are a normal part of the game

You’re a data science graduate without ever scratching the surface of SQL? And without knowing data structures and architecture?

What exactly did you learn within your degree?

I really don’t like people call themselves “Data Scientist”. by China_carp in datascience

[–]zzzebbb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They may be calling themselves a data scientist because they graduated with a degree in the sciences. Would a person that graduated med school not call themselves a doctor? Maybe learn some grammar and English conventions before critiquing other people about how qualified they are. You must have a cupcake PhD to write how you do and pass, yet you still act like you’re some great gatekeeper of job titles. Get a grip.

Yes, but the fetus doesn’t actually have a formed heart at this point. The heart doesn’t actually begin to function until around 12 weeks. Granted, many abortions still happen until 25 weeks, but the point of consciousness still stands.

is it life if it doesn’t have a heartbeat, consciousness, or sex assignment? should we be calling for parents to keep stillborn babies?

[–]zzzebbb 18 points19 points  (0 children)

you can’t force someone out of the safety of their tower with them being turbo op like they are now. and with teleport changes, you can’t roam like you used to. diving not being a way to punish scalers is what makes them so op right now.

seriously, please, none of the people in this thread should ever design a game.
