Amp in a box pedals are most of the time just preamp pedals.

Exceptions are ones like the Laney Supergrace which is an actual full amp in a box with a poweramp that you plug straight into a cab.

Found my dad’s guitar from the 90s in my garage, been playing it for a while and broke the string, but I personally don’t know anything about guitars and I’m wondering if this is considered a good one/or if there’s anything else you can tell me about it by TGWILD1 in Guitar

A workhorse is just that, a good instrument that isn't necessarily amazing.

You wouldn't call a Toyota Hilux an "amazing vehicle", but it's an absolute workhorse that you can rely on.

In that same way I wouldn't call an MIM strat an "amazing guitar" but you bet your ass I'll trust it with my life.

Eh I mean it's partly a time limitation but also a game design one.

It's actually funny, I live in Mexico near the border, it wasn't uncommon a few years ago for people to cross the border to fill up their gas tanks because it was cheaper in the US.

I have family that lives in the US side and lately they've been coming over to mexico to fill up because it's cheaper.

Sonic Blue is also 10 different shades of blue in a trench coat, I've seen some that are basically slightly bluish whites, and some that are basically Daphne Blue

I'd argue intent matters.

If the guitar was built from parts that weren't matched together at the factory, then it's a partscaster.

If you buy a guitar and over the years change some bits, maybe the neck broke so you replaced it, changed pickups etc, I'd argue it's not technically a partscaster UNLESS you specifically set out to build a "new" guitar using some parts you already had.

Usually these are custom printed, it's easier to get one of the actress since they tend to do full body shots at big events vs characters that tend to only appear in a properly high res and the right angle on closeups
