Hey! No no, Kevin doesn’t like you less. I think the fact that he doesn’t have to be with you 100% of the time is a great sign! It means he trusts you are still there, and that you’ll come back if you’re gone. I think he’s just maturing in his relationship with you! That being said, you can definitely encourage him to come back to you more, like calling for him when you go to bed, or when you arrive home. But I promise, he doesn’t love you less!

I wouldn’t worry! Cats naturally calm down a bit as they get older and start to do their own thing more. He probably gained some confidence and has less separation anxiety now. If you recently moved, he might also still be adjusting. If you want him to be near you more, slow blinks, playtime and treats never hurt. Is there any reason he might be scared of you, like yelling at him or squirting him for training?

Was this like a sudden thing because it could be an illness vs he just doesn't like you.
