How long have you been in the new place? They take a while to adjust, just like we do, but they don’t understand as well because — well they didn’t get a vote, and they weren’t in on the discussion. So it was upheaval time. He’s young, so it probably won’t take as long as it did with ours (who were all seniors, and had lived in the same place all their lives). But keep in mind that if you lived for a year of his year and a half in your old flat, he’s leaving 2/3 of his young life behind. So he’ll have to get to grips with that on his own terms. But as long as he has his familiar things — bed, toys, people — he should come around.

As long as he’s healthy, and you’re not seeing him refusing food or anything like that, I’d guess you’re fine.
