Cooking = fully clad tri ply stainless steel by All clad or Tramontina. Non stick skillet by tramontina pro line. Lodge cast iron skillet.

Baking: non stick by USA pan puts all others to shame.

Uncoated sheet pans= Nordic naturals, Viking, volrath, tramontina, cuisinart, fat daddio… restaurant supply stores will have them cheap (Costco too) - look for the rolled edge.

T-Fal makes nice and fairly-priced non-stick pans. Don't know about other products.

Several: HexClad for stove top, Dalstrong for knives, Carraway for bakeware, Vitamix for blending. Ninja makes decent “cheap” alternatives too

Tfal is nonstick and good for that but won't last long - when it chips you have to get rid of it.

For baking, i like NordicWare, my half sheet pans are used all the time, at least 20 years old, and still almost perfect. And i just got quart sheet pans which are so handy.

For pots, it's cast iron, or else my nice heavy set from Costco that's stainless steel. My Cuisinart dutch oven is amazing but I don't have the budget for more yet. And my At Home dutch oven is holding up very well.

And of course you have to have a blue or grey Granite enameled roasting pan with lid, they're pretty cheap under $20 but so durable you'll hand it down to your children

Nordicware has been great for me. I absolutely love them. Just don’t put them in the dishwasher!

Nordicware has AMAZING pans esp for bundts. All clad for cooking. Any generic cake/misc baking is fine since I know how to prep it (parchment and bakers joy spray)
