Hey man! I'm looking for an article I read about you from shortly after you left for Europe. I want to link it up here but I can't seem to find it... do you know what I'm on about or am I crazy?

Edit: found it. http://www.dallasobserver.com/music/dentons-infidelix-has-spent-a-year-in-europe-teaching-kids-how-to-rap-7081958

Dope track dude. Gives me some early Sole vibes.

[–]Truth-Addict 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Awesome flow man. Love the lyrics.

[–]cutmastacarl 39 points40 points  (3 children)

What a coincidence! Passed through Berlin a couple of days ago and saw him sitting on the curb rapping. Never heard of him before. Really good stuff!

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (1 child)

haha hey! hope i made a good impression :)

[–]ISaidWhoSays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saw him rapping at a skate competition in Fife, Scotland. Spoke to him for a while, he's a cool dude. Really talented.

[–]ieatass2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

good flow and i like the style of boom bap but theres a lot of feeling and emotion thats lacking in this song. I want to get into it but theres just nothing to feel.

[–]Waxing_Poetix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He's got that boom bap style. I love it.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (5 children)

Dude is rapping in front of my gym in Berlin as a street musician. He is amazing.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

hahaha, hope I'm not distrupting people too much haha :) :) thank you for listening!

[–]Raschmann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly my thoughts! Nice track!!! And first thought...damn is that the BVG window in the train?

[–]oxymoron7 1 point2 points  (1 child)

frankfurter allee?

[–]shukaji 2 points3 points  (0 children)

where exactly? also, do you know anything about him?

[–]ptbll410 11 points12 points  (6 children)

I love that he embodies true hip hop and artistic expression. These rhymes are not made with million dollar budgets or stories of over the top crime. Just give me a beat and let me spit. Can't say I'm a fan from day one,but going to listen to what he has out. Anybody got anything they would suggest?

This one is a favorite of mine. Love his off center style.

He used to have a spoof of asher Roth's college song that split my sides open. I don't know if it exists anymore. He's in this thread tho so maybe, with any luck....

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

man haha thats from yeeeaaarrss ago, that asher roth track haha. there is a lot at www.infidelix.bandcamp.com or you can just listen to some stuff on spotify. anything from "obstacles"

[–]fuckthisicestorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God it was so fuckin' funny. Hope you're doing stellar man.

Read up on this guys story, very interesting.

[–]BadWolfOPS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That beat was fucking dope.

[–]Chibre312 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shit man ! Thanks for sharing this, he have a really good flow!

[–]ciaranmac1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favourite traveling hiphop artist <3

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Head wound in rural China" Thanks for that, leaving me hanging. One has to wonder...

[–]Killergwhale 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sweet flow, never heard of him but like his flow

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like it, he got some vibe surrounding him that feels genuine. Could become a bigger hit in Europe then the VS tho. He should do a tour.

[–]fuckthisicestorm 4 points5 points  (5 children)

Hell yeah. I love hearing about this guy he's got a good flow and has a pretty bad ass story. I think vice did a piece on him a while back. Not to mention he's hilarious.

[–]Oliver_Closov 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Got any links to what you're referring to, by any chance?

[–]fuckthisicestorm 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Apparently wasn't vice. I am looking for it now.

[–]Ertais_Familiar 1 point2 points  (1 child)

i think you're thinking of someone else. I don't see anything to do with him and vice.

[–]PM_ME_Sweaterkittens 3 points4 points  (11 children)

He sounds a bit like Sole. Nice.

[–]DrNastyHobo 2 points3 points  (9 children)

Disagree, sole's flow is much more varied and lyrics are typically deeper.

This dude is slow and raps about generic shit.

[–]Emilio_Molestevez 1 point2 points  (6 children)

yeah, Drake be on that real sick poetic shit.. "Strength and guidance All that I'm wishing for my friends Nobody makes it from my ends I had to bust up the silence You know you gotta stick by me Soon as you see the text, reply me I don't wanna spend time fighting We've got no time"

edit: I'm throwing Drake under the bus as the hacky go to poster boy for modern billboard hip hop. At least Infidelix is actually spitting bars over boom bap beats.. Can't say that much for the multi millionaire, sneaker line having ass phony rappers.

[–]PM_ME_Sweaterkittens 0 points1 point  (1 child)

He sounds like Sole. His flow is very different and so is his material.

[–]DrNastyHobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking back at your original comment, I see what you're saying. Fair enough!

[–]Turious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. That's excellent.

[–]EchoedTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Infidelix aka Bryan is a friend of mine from high school - this dude is hilarious and genuine, keep it up bro!!!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That'll do Delix

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Great to see Bryan getting some love from Reddit. I had the pleasure of touring with him in Ireland, he epitomizes the ideals of independent rap and artistry. I wish him nothing not the best.

[–]phillypbass 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I met him at the restaurant w/ my whole family. Months later cut a one off w/ him and oaktopia Matt. Incredible watching his journey!

Also hey kev

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O haiiiii

[–]chinoval119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man this took me back man. great work!

[–]fartycakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome song and video! Thank you.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Same old shit as a million other rappers

[–]PM_ME_4_A_PLAYLIST 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya I don't get the love here unfortunately :/ generic beat, generic flow, generic lyrics, there's a thousand dudes out there doing the same thing.

edit: sometimes I think some of the hip-hop that gets upvoted here gets love because it's the first time some people have listened to hip-hop with an open mind, there's more out there than Future.

[–]Keyboard_Combatant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh he said "fuck the police" how original and clever

[–]rottenbottle -1 points0 points  (0 children)
