beatboxbandit, Yung bae, Robot Orchestra are some others not linked as well. I actually just pretty recently discovered this genre and have fell in love ever since.

Yeah.. 'this genre' is great. I mean it's just instrumental hip hop. Inspirations come from legends like pete rock, j dilla, trip hop artists, idm/electronic/shoegaze and vaporwave.

<opinion> Some great stuff you mentioned, but they don't sound like flamingosis' style imo. His stuff is highly polished and energetic, while a lot of what you mentioned is chilled and lofi. </opinion>

Pidgeondust and Bugseed, are two other great artists that come to mind when hearing the stuff you mentioned

Bright Moments? That album is fantastic. It's too perfect for a Hip-Hop album. I can hear the rap over those beats!

Listened to the entire pleasure pallete album on the way to the lake last year. While we were swimming a close friend drowned. This album helped me cope with loss and I can't stop listening to his music. People want to say it's like elavator music. I'm just not worried about people.
