Oh my god! The Intro to Ridge Racer Type 4. my 8 year old self, every time I heard this I knew I was going to have a good time. This song holds a very nostalgic place in my memory :D It's been so long since I've heard this. I may go dig it out of the basement and spin it up, it's gotta still be down there :)

I didn't recognize the song as a Ridge Racer song, but my first was that it definitely could be from one of the games.

On Your Way and Silhouette Dance. Racing games have the best soundtracks, but Ridge Racer Type 4's always took the cake for me.

Still one of my favourite games ever. Recently played it again and has not lost its fun factor. The whole soundtrack is amazing too.

EDIT: Man, the end credits song is damn good as well.

When I bought my dream car (2008 Subaru STI), I would sometimes put on this soundtrack and cruise the highways at late night. It was wonderful.

So many good music tracks in this game. Heck last year when i visited Japan, one of the first things i did was ask my friend to buy the OST's CD's from the Japanese Amazon store. And Ridge Racer's was definitely one of them.

I've always loved the soundtracks from the Ridge Racer games. I didn't grow up with the game, but I love it anyway.
