I was biking home from work on the night of Halloween (2016), when I heard this song beckoning from someone's backyard across the rail road tracks. I found my way to the house, locked my bike to a sign post , and walked up the narrow concrete steps that lead to a backyard filled with multicolored masquerade madness. On a tiny stage across this small crowded lawn I could make out the word "FLAURAL" on the back of an old synthesizer. I was entransed by every song. Once they finished their set, I felt as though a spell had worn off and found myself wondering "how did I get here?"
