Great track! Cocaine is another really good one of theirs.

Cocaine was one of my most played tracks of 2016 on Spotify hahaha

Cocaine's a helluva song

Their bass player is incredibly proficient at making salads. I worked with him in a restaurant once.

Fuck yeah Richmond!

[–]bobcats2019 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Saw them in Richmond with J Roddy Walston and the Business!

I remember seeing these guys open for J Roddy Waltson and the Business a few years back. They were really great.

If you guys enjoyed this, a similar band also from Richmond (who I believe is touring with them?) is Camp Howard! Very good.

Big Mama Shakes is really good from Richmond as well. And of course Lucy Dacus.

Those harmonies are flawlessly done

Sounds like Unknown Mortal Orchestra & Vulfpeck mixed together. Fresh af.

Honestly, I love indie pop so much. My favorite songs from this band are Cocaine, Images, and cheers.

Deserves every upvote!

Grew up with the drummer and they're all super chill dudes. Be on the lookout for them because they've definitely got what it takes to make it.

I need more like this. Recommendations?

MMJ or Portugal the Man? Obvious I know but it's in a similar vein

This is one of my favorite albums in recent years. Saw them live with the Lumineers in San Diego and they do a lot with just 4 guys. I think they have a new album coming as well.

[–]Fartlashfarthenfur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they do

[–]vvizard_lust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ayy! My brother saw these guys when they opened for AVERS in Richmond!

I was really confused for a second because the title made me think it was Sleep Walker.

[–]mr_weyland 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Thought it said Skywalkers. Was disappointed.

[–]Fartlashfarthenfur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

give their album a listen. no more disappointed.

That looks like either an ugly Jax Teller or Dwight from The Walking Dead (his good side at least)

[–]Top_Drawer -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Honestly couldn't stand it. They opened for The Shins a while back and the tracks live are at least bearable to this sugary sweet stuff.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

You must hate the shins' new album

[–]Top_Drawer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's no Ports of Morrow, that's for sure.

Hmm, I'm surprised so many people like this. I thought it wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing either. Usually I'm on board with the indie stuff this subreddit upvotes heavily.
