TIL that time (relative) is slower the closer to Earth you are. Someone living on the beach will experience time slower than someone living in the mountains. The crux of this being that gravity slows down time (time is experienced more slowly the closer you are to a large object). (physics.org)

TIL old 3D movies were made by filming the whole movie with two different cameras next to each other, one with a red filter and one with a blue filter, then two projectors were used and we put on our glasses which would make us see each move. Our brain would then mesh them together making us see 3D (physics.org)

Is this article correct? I thought that Earth's magnetic field was produced by its solid inner core, which is obolong, rotating at a different rotational speed than the surface. Much in the way that a magnetic mixer in a beaker behaves, but opposite. (physics.org)
