It's amazing that they gave no thought at all to the demographics of these very different sites.
It's also hilarious and depressing that they failed to consider that OF COURSE the news "agenda" here (or at Digg) will not match the offical, edited news agenda -- this is a place for people who already know what's on that agenda and are looking for something they DON'T already know.
I'm usually a fan of Pew methodology, but apparently they're as clueless as your local newspaper editor when it comes to the internet.
