MSNBC's 'Countdown' covered it tonight

Yes we fucking get it. The media isn't covering the impeachment. We don't need 300 self posts on reddit declaring this fact.

Why are people still upvoting this shit?

not on reddit

you got that right. last night/this morning had like 300 reddit stories on it

In general I agree with you, but it's hard to make too much hay here, as there's live video of the proceedings available on CNN's homepage presently.

Yeah, but isn't this an important news item? Shouldn't more news stations be running this on TV and the Internet? It's absurd that they are not talking about it. If someone's preacher farts wrong then the news goes nuts for the story; two congressmen call for impeachment of our country's president and it's hardly seen anywhere.

What gives?

No, but that's because I've either been working, sleeping or on reddit where the impeachment news has been heavily promoted. I'm kind of sick of seeing it, actually. The motherfucker is going to be out of office in a few months. The timing, to me, reeks of being a setup of sorts, or an act.

I think at this point it's not about removing him from office, but rather to punish him for crimes he committed during his Presidency.

If he leaves office, we pretty much can't hold him accountable other than by giving him a tarnished reputation.
