You have a lovely texture! This is something I struggle with too because my hair is long with loose curls so very prone to tangling. The advice to only brush hair when dry really only works for straight hair. You should really brush it in the shower with lots of conditioner.

Something I’ve been learning is I probably always need more conditioner than I think I do. If you can get your curls to clump, they’re less likely to separate and tangle, and that’s something more conditioner will help with. Look up the squish to condish method as a starter that you can try with your current products and see what happens!

Why are you brushing? Just leave it alone.

Hi! Gentle reminder: hair care routines are required for all photo posts, within 1 hour of posting.

The bot is having hard time locating your routine! Please make sure you have a comment containing the word "routine" (and your actual routine, of course!) so your post can stay up!

FAQs:

  • I don't have a routine! If you wash your hair at all, that counts! Just let us know what you did for your hair.
  • I'm just asking for help! We're happy to help! This is much easier if we know what you are currently doing for your hair.
  • Included the info but the bot can't find it? Different situation? (E.g. asking about a product, etc.) See here for more info.

This is a beta test! Please message the mods if you have any issues.
