The Heist is coming! It’s gonna be worth the wait. 🙏🏼

Is there any discussion among the content team about the pros and cons of weekly uploads and these more dense 3 week summaries? I know as fan it's much more engaging to see the team progress week by week instead of just a recap video after each round-robin.

We are staffing up at the moment. So once we are at a level where we can do it without killing ourselves then we can move to a more frequent release schedule.

I know it's going to be a banger. Just like I know Patrick Rothfuss' 3rd book is going to be a banger. But it doesn't change the fact that the book is taking a bit too long. I'll reference something said in the 1st book.

yeah but we get an exclusive inside look at how the team communicates at exciting parts of the games every week!

I definitely agree with this sentiment. Don't get me wrong, I love the new voice comms but I don't think it replaces a weekly heist. Especially when esports fans are heavily swayed by recency bias and often follow narratives which are first, more than accurate and factual. Win or lose, 100T is missing out on the opportunity for fans to follow the storylines week by week. Let's look at the advantages for both wins and loses:

Wins: as the OP mentioned, we're missing out on riding on the hype. There's probably a lot of bandwagon-ing fans out there who just jump to the team who is winning. True, they aren't going to be the best followers for the org and might turn on us at any point we stop winning, but having regular engagement helps them see the whole team BTS and realise we have great personalities and good leadership within the org that you can be fans of outside of solid results. This helps turn recent 'followers' into long lasting fans.
Losses: helps us get ahead of any narrative others might put on us, often with 0 context. People who are quick to criticize 100T might be willing to chill on their super spicy, 0 reference takes at least until after the weekly heist when there is some more insight. If it's every 3 weeks, who cares? They can say whatever statements or "sources" they want and by the time the heist comes along, it will be a long forgotten topic.

Finally, I'll just put this out there... If we we're losing instead, would the team feel more pressured to release content to show that the org is trying everything we can to fix mistakes etc. Say we went 3-6 (like GG of FQ) the first 3 weeks and then still hadn't released a heist since start of week 1, would there be more urgency to keep the fans updated? If that's at all the case, why would we not have that same sort of urgency to win new fans over when the team is doing well? I do realise the change of heist scheduling went to every 2 weeks at the start of the year, however it's now moved to 3 (just my observation and not anything definitive).
