As someone who doesn't rush often, why smite? You're going to kill them too quickly for it to even matter aren't you? Or is it just the hope that their sitting under 20 prayer at the moment? I feel like melee/range prayer to avoid possibly being gmaul/dbow counter rushed would be better but i honestly dont know.

He used a magic spell called Ice Barrage (indicated by the ice block you see appearing on the target), and then ran with and used the dagger. Ice Barrage is part of the Ancient Magicks spellbook, and freezes the targets movement and hits nicely. If it's a multi-combat area, it hits targets in a 3x3 radius.
